In 2014 I visited a musuem that inspired me to pick up the medium of gouache. Gouache (gwash) is like watercolor but has different binders that make it opaque & chalky. Discovereing a stationary weather camera the images captured served as my inspiration. Removing many of the myriad decisions to be made at the start of any finished work, I could focus on mastering the medium.
